Validating Files for Import

Use the validator in TB.One to check the technical validity of files before you import them.

TIP:

•To validate a CSV file, go to "Data exchange > Validators > CSV".

•To validate an XML file, go to "Data exchange > Validators > XML".

 

1.Click on "Choose file" (see Fig.1). This button may be labeled differently, depending on your browser and its settings.

2.Select a file in the pop-up window.

3.If you activate "Use import settings", the validator will use the specific import settings you have configured for your TB.One.

4.Click "Upload file & Validate" (see Fig.1).

5.TB.One gives you feedback about your file directly in the validation menu.

6.Resolve any errors found by the validator and repeat the validation process until the validation is successful.

7.If you want to import the file, you can now move it to the import directory ("Data exchange > Directories > Input").

ATTENTION:
Moving the file to the import directory triggers automatic processing (this may take a few minutes). Depending on the file type, this will:

•Overwrite existing data in TB.One.

•Send messages (dispatch advices, cancellations, etc.) to marketplaces.

The validator checks for technical validity only. It does not verify data accuracy or completeness.
