Marketplaces > Marketplaces T-Z > Zalando > Error Messages for Zalando > How to Solve PSERR_148
Description
To list variants correctly on Zalando, every variant (or "article") of each product must be unique. The PSERR_148 error happens when two different color values from your TB.One setup (like "light grey" and "dark grey") are both mapped to the same Zalando value (like "grey") for the "main color" property.
When Zalando receives the data, it sees two different variants with the same size and color (in our example "grey"), considers them duplicates of each other, and blocks the product.
To fix this, you must update your value mapping to assign a unique Zalando color to each of your product's color variants.
Two or more article variants belonging to the same article ID are mapped with the same color codes combination. Please make sure that a unique color code combination is assigned to each article variant and submit the article again. |
Solution
You can resolve the PSERR_148 error by identifying the conflicting color values in your data and then updating your channel-specific value mapping for Zalando’s “main color” property.
1. Identify Conflicting Colors
•Open the affected product via the menu "Articles > Product list".
•Go to the tab "Article list".
•Review the values listed under the variant dimension that represents your color (e.g., "Color", "Farbe").
•Look for similar values that might have a high potential of being mapped identically, such as "light grey" and "dark grey". Note these down. That way you will know exactly which values to check in the value mapping.
2. Check and Update the Value Mapping
•Go to "Channels > Zalando (main channel) > Value Mapping".
•In the left column, select "--global Mapping--".
TIP: For Zalando, it is recommended to map at the global level. Mappings at category level override global mappings. |
•In the middle column, find and click on the property named "main color" ("Hauptfarbe").
•In the right column, change the filter to “show all”. The column now shows all color values assigned to Zalando articles.
•Find the values you noted in Step 1 (e.g., "light grey" and "dark grey"). You will likely see they are both mapped to the same Zalando value in the drop-down list (e.g., grey).
TIP: |
•For each of your internal color values that were mapped identically, select a different and unique Zalando value from the drop-down list. Try to choose the closest appropriate Zalando color codes.
•Save your changes.
Mapping Example:
Wrong |
Correct |
light grey → grey |
light grey → light grey |
dark grey → grey |
dark grey → dark grey |
3. Wait for the Next Export to Zalando
•When you have configured all settings, wait for the next daily Zalando export.
•Monitor the status in zDirect to confirm that the error is resolved.
