Create Articles

Stay in the product detail view to create the individual articles for your product. The entry mask for the article creation is available on the tab "Article list".

Variants and Variant dimensions

•In the section "Variant dimensions", open the drop-down menu "Create dimension" and select the required variant-forming components such as "colour" (Farbe) and "size" (Größe). Always provide "colour" and "size" as variant dimensions for Zalando.

•Then click on "Save dimension".

•First, you have to specify the variant dimensions before creating the articles. The term "variant dimension" defines a property in which the articles differ. For example, you may assign the variant values "black" and "white" to the variant dimension "colour".

Tab "Article List"

Once you have selected and saved the variant dimensions, create the individual articles for your product by entering article numbers and variant values in the table.

Creation of articles

•Per row, one article is defined.

•For each new article, the bottom row highlighted in green is used for data entries.

•Always indicate an article number. It must be unique and must not contain any special or space characters.

•Enter a value for each variant dimension (e.g. "white" for the variant dimension "colour"). If values are already stored, they are available via the triangle icon.

•The columns "Stock" und "Sort" can be ignored.

•Whenever you have filled in the information in an article's row, click on "Save article list". This will confirm the newly created article. Then, the row is no longer highlighted in green.

•Furthermore, a new row is added underneath (highlighted in green) where you can create another article.

•Repeat this process until you have created all articles.

•Please, don't forget to save the entries. Note: Finally, a row highlighted in green and with free fields will remain (that's fine).

Activation of articles

•Check the box at the respective article's row, or select all articles by checking the box in the column header.

•Then, navigate to the footer of the table. Open the drop-down menu "Selected articles" and choose "Activate". Finally, click on the button "Execute".

•Activated articles are indicated by the green checkmark.

 
Tab "Article data"

Having created the required articles on the tab "Article list", you can switch to the tab "Article data" to enter more information.

Prices

•Select your Zalando channel from the drop-down menu "Price list".

•For each article, enter values in the free text fields for the "RP" (retail price) and the "Former RP". If you want to display sales prices in the shop, the RP must be lower than the former RP.

•Save the entered price information.

Numbers

Go to the "Numbers" tab.

•Enter a valid EAN code (13-digit) at each article.

•You should also indicate a manufacturer's article number. It can be identical to the EAN code or the article number.

•Confirm the entered numbers by clicking on "Save".

Stock

•Open the tab "Stock data".

•For each item, enter a value for the stock in your standard warehouse (Standardlager).

•Only for Zalando ZFS channels, you don't have to provide stock data.

 
Channel Activation

•Select your Zalando channel from the drop-down menu "Channel".

•Once you have selected a channel, the boxes in the "Activation" column are checked automatically, indicating that these articles are active for this channel.

•Click on the button "Save".

Images

Open the product detail view by clicking on your product in the product list ("Article > Product list"). Select the tab "Media".

•Upload your images via the button "Add media".

•Select a media type from the drop-down list for each image.

•One image per "box" is sufficient.

•Assign the individual images to the related articles by checking the correct box(es) in the table.

•Click on "Save".
