How to Delete an Order Message (DESADV)

This guide shows how to delete or correct a manually created or imported order message in TB.One. It is crucial to understand the timing of these actions to ensure the correct information is transmitted to the marketplace.

How to Delete a Message

1.Open the order in question in TB.One.

2.Click on "Message list" (the icon is located on the right-hand side) next to the order item.

3.In the message list, find the message type you want to delete (e.g., Order Acknowledge, Dispatch Advice, Return, or Cancellation) and check if its status is "open" and highlighted in green.

4.If the message is still "open," click on "delete" below to remove it.

5.Repeat these steps for each item of the order if necessary.

What to Do if the Message Has Already Been Transferred?

1.Contact the marketplace directly to explain the situation.

2.Depending on the message type, the information might have been forwarded to the end customer, potentially affecting payments, cancellations or returns.

3.Clarify the next steps with the marketplace.

4.Contact Tradebyte Support, as they are the only ones who can delete an already transmitted message.

5.If the marketplace requests it, re-enter a new, corrected message for your item(s) of the affected order.
