This guide provides a structured approach to troubleshoot common reasons for this discrepancy, ensuring your pricing information is always accurate and up-to-date on Zalando.

How to Troubleshoot Price Update Issues on Zalando

To identify why your article's price is not updating on Zalando, please follow these steps:

1. Verify Article Export Status

First, ensure that the article itself is being exported successfully to Zalando. An article must be active and valid in TB.One (without any internal errors) to be included in the regular product feed export.

2. Check Article Price Settings in TB.One

Once you've confirmed the article is exported, the next step is to verify its price settings in TB.One.

2.1 Identify the Active Price List:

If you work with (sales)price lists, determine the current active and valid price list.

Go to "Channels > [Affected Zalando channel] > Price Catalogue".

Here, you can see which price list is currently active and has the highest priority for your Zalando channel. This is the price list from which Zalando receives price information.

2.2 Understand Price Export Frequency:

Please note that price changes, once they become active and valid in TB.One, are exported with the regular data exchange times for prices. These price exports to Zalando typically occur every two hours.

3. Review Zalando's Price Validation Report

Zalando performs its own validation on incoming price updates. Checking their report after the successful price export from TB.One can provide valuable insights into why a price might not be updating.

3.1 Check the Price Validation Report in zDirect or TB.One (if Activated):

Log in to your Zalando zDirect Backend.

Go to the Manage Prices section and look for the Price Validation Report. This report details your latest price transmissions via TB.One and indicates if your price update was accepted or rejected, along with the reason (e.g., due to Zalando's price validation rules).

If activated for your account by Tradebyte Support, you can also view this price report in TB.One.

Navigate to "Data exchange > Directories > Out".

The price reports are named according to the following scheme: zaxy_price_report…, where zaxy varies depending on the country channel.

This report is usually provided once per day and includes the price submissions and their status from the previous day.

Search for the affected articles via EAN in this report.

3.2 Correct Price Data:

Depending on the findings in the price validation report, you may need to correct your price data in TB.One accordingly. For example, if a price was rejected due to a rule violation, adjust it to meet Zalando's requirements.
