TB.One > Product and Article Data > FAQ - Product and Article Data > How to Delete a Variant Dimension
This guide shows how to delete variant dimensions in TB.One. Learn how to efficiently remove variant dimensions from a single product, multiple products, or through imports.
Manual Deletion for a Single Product
1.Open the Product you want to modify in TB.One.
2.Go to the "Article List" tab.
3.On top, you’ll find the “Variant Dimensions” section.
4.Click the red cross next to the variant dimension you want to delete. This action is labeled "reset variant field".
5.Save your changes via the “Save Dimension” button.
Manual Deletion for Multiple Products
1.Go to the article list in TB.One.
2.Filter your articles if needed.
3.In the "page actions" section on the left sidebar, click on "bulk editing".
4.Acknowledge the warning in the popup and click "next".
5.Expand the "Categorisation" dropdown.
6.Check the box in front of "Add/update/delete product component (property)". (Note: technically a variant dimension is also a component maintained on article-level)
7.Select the variant dimension, e.g. size you want to delete in the first dropdown.
8.In the last dropdown, click on "delete".
9.Click on "apply changes".
The variant dimension will be deleted from all products that are currently filtered and have this variant dimension stored. This process may take some time depending on the number of products.
Deletion via Import
1. Adjust import settings
TIP: |
Prepare and import your file
1.Create an import file that includes all variant dimensions that should remain on the articles of the product.
2.You can limit the import to the products from which the variant dimension is to be removed, but ensure that all other variant dimensions are included in the file.
3.Validate your file.
4.Import your file.
5.The import will now delete all variant dimensions for the products that were included in the file and keep the variant dimensions that are still in the file.
