TB.One > Setup, Configuration & User Accounts > Order-Related Basic Data > Shipping Types
In the menu "Basic data > Shipping > Shipping types", you can define the general shipping options and the corresponding settings for the channels. Channel-specific standard package types can be assigned to each shipping type. The settings in this menu are the basis for shipping cost calculations at the channel. To create an additional shipping type, select the tab "Pages" in the left navigation bar and click on "Create new shipping type". Shipping types are globally activated by checking the box "Active" at the top. This will make the shipping type selectable and exportable for the articles. Enter a designation for the shipping type and an import key (if you create article data via import). The order of the shipping types in the list is determined by the value "Sorting". With the checkbox "DHL package", you activate DHL-specific checks (e.g. validating ship codes). You may also choose an icon to represent the shipping code in TB.One.
For each channel, you need to define the default package type for the shipping type. The package types you can choose from are the ones at "Basic data > Shipping > Package types". Then, the shipping profile for each channel needs to be configured (unless you don't want to use the shipping type at the channel). Changes can only be made if you activate the checkbox in front of the channel's name. The box will be deactivated again, once you save your settings (this is a safety feature to prevent accidental changes). You can assign the shipping type via the master article, a cluster, an internal category or with the drop-down list "Shipping type" in the article data menu.
The icon in front of the designation shows the usage:
active
inactive but assigned to active articles
inactive and not assigned to active articles.
In the list of shipping types, you can use the checkbox "Usage" to hide all unused shipping types. The filter also allows you to limit the list to shipping types used at or assigned to a specific channel.
