TB.One > Product and Article Data > Product-Related Basic Data > Creating Intrastat Categories
Intrastat categories can be created manually or via import. If you choose to add them via import, check the import settings at "Admin > Import > Settings". Especially the sections "Delete content no longer provided in the import" and "Create import keys from import file automatically" are important.
Depending on channel and circumstances, indicating an Intrastat category for your articles may be legally required. To be able to select Intrastat categories during article creation you need to first enter them at "Basic data > Properties > Intrasstat categories".
To enter a new category, select the tab "Pages" in the left navigation bar and click on "Create new entry". For each category, you need to provide the 8-digit Intrastat number and a designator in the editing window. You can access a list of all currently valid numbers by clicking on the page action "Intrastat categories (link)" (on the tab "Pages" in the left navigation bar). The link will take you to an external website. Existing entries can be changed or removed at any time.
With the option "CSV Import" you can create many categories simultaneously (for the purposes of this documentation, this is still referred to as manual creation).
