You can use the channel's back end to send messages to your customers via the CHECK24.de customer service.

Provide your product data in German.

Go to the menu "Basic data > Storage > Warehouse settings" and check your settings for the channel (for more information, click here).

ATTENTION:
You should process orders exclusively via TB.One. To avoid errors, you should not create order messages (e.g. dispatch advices, cancellations, etc.) directly in CHECK24.de's partner portal.

B-01: Payments

Find your payment methods at "Basic data > Payment > Payment methods".

Payments are managed by CHECK24.de. When the channel is activated or, at the latest, when the first order comes in, a payment method with the channel name is created automatically. For the export to an ERP-system, you can freely select an export key.

The payment type for the channel is called "CHECK24.de", the corresponding export key is "chde" and the method type is "standard". You can view it at "Basic data > Payment > Payment types", but you do not need to configure anything yourself.

D-01: Product designation

The length of the product designation is not limited.

ATTENTION:

Restrictions apply to product titles for Fashion + Shoes (not for categories in the Furniture + Toys section). The following information must not be included: color, size, gender, item number.

Do not use English terms in product titles for CHECK24.de

D-02: Special text

CHECK24.de does not use the field "Special text".

D-03: Description

The length of the product description is not limited.

TIP:
Product descriptions are optional. There is no character limit.

Links are not supported.

The name of the selling company—unless it matches the product’s brand name—as well as references to other variants and cross-selling must not be included.

Additionally, for Fashion + Shoes, you may not include the following elements in the description text:

There are no restrictions for the variant-forming components for Furniture/Möbel + Toys/Spielzeug.

D-05: Attributes

The following attributes are mandatory at CHECK24.de:

Gender (GER: Geschlecht; category: Fashion/Mode + Shoes/Schuhe)

Age group (GER: Altersgruppe; category: Fashion/Mode + Shoes/Schuhe)

Material (GER: Material; category: Shoes/Schuhe + Furniture/Möbel + Toys/Spielzeug)

You may provide additional attributes. They will not be shown in the shop directly, but will make it easier for customers to find your articles, e.g.

E-01: Article numbers

Provide the following article numbers:

Article number

EAN
The EAN is used for EAN matching. This means it links similar items from different suppliers using the EAN. Therefore, always use the official EAN for the item, not any in-house replacement numbers.

TIP:
When maintaining EAN codes (13 digits), please note that they must be completely unique. Multiple identical codes are not permitted within a single account. The validity of the EANs you submit will be checked. Therefore, please be sure to submit EANs with valid check digits.

Manufacturer's article number (rcommended)
If a manufacturer's part number is available, we recommend entering it in TB.One.

E-02: Shipping information

Provide the following shipping information:

Weight

Country of origin and Intrastat category
For Furniture + Toys, mandatory for partners based outside Germany

Deliver time (including internal processing time)

Number of packing pieces

TIP:
If you want to calculate shipping costs for your items, you must use an item property for CHECK24.de (we recommend creating a separate attribute for shipping costs for this purpose). Assign this property to the CHECK24.de property “Shipping Costs” in the middle column of the value mapping table. In the right-hand section of the table, you can then set shipping costs for each of the property values.

To do this, enter the desired amounts in the free-text fields. Use a period as the decimal separator (e.g., 4.99). You do not need to specify the currency. Shipping costs are not listed separately in the CHECK24.de shop but are added to the sales price.

E-03: Variant dimensions

The following requirements apply for variant dimensions:

At CHECK24.de, variants for Fashion + Shoes are created based on color and size. These two variant dimensions are required for all items in these categories.

There are no requirements for variant creation for Furniture + Toys.

Under “Basic Data > Properties > Components,” enter a CHECK24.de key and, if applicable, a channel-specific name for the variant-forming components. To do this, click on the corresponding components in the list, locate the “CHECK24.de Assignment” section on the right in the editing area, and enter a key. As a rule, you can simply use the component’s name, provided it is specified in German. Don’t forget to save the setting.

F-01: Media

Provide images in a commonly used format such as png or jpg.

Number: min. 1 article image

Size: no size requirement

Resolution: no DPI requirement

PDF is not supported

CHECK24.de does not process product images. TB.One therefore exports your product images to the channel as item images. These images are placed at the end of the image sequence.

The channel recommends the following order for item images:

Fashion + Shoes: Model images followed by images showing the item in a cutout.

Furniture + Toys: Isolated product images followed by a mood/setting image and a detail image

G-01: Carrier

Use a carrier of your choice

TIP:
For CHECK24.de you can choose from a list of carriers. These are set up via the package types. Under "Basic data > Shipping > Package types", click on each of the package types you want to use for the channel. An editing window will open on the right. Here, you can select one of the following keys to assign a carrier and package type for CHECK24.de (the first part of the key shows the carrier):

G-02: Delivery note

You can configure the CHECK24.de delivery notes at "Admin > System settings > Documents" and add custom text.

TIP:
If you want to add shipping costs to the prices of articles you sell on CHECK24.de, you need to assign them to the articles via a property (we recommend creating a shipping cost attribute) and map that property to the channel's "Versandkosten" property.

Shipping costs are not displayed explicitly in the CHECK24.de shop. Instead, the channel includes them in the retail price.

G-03: Invoice

It is not possible to print invoices. Payments and invoicing are managed by the channel.

The billing address in the order details is therefore only a placeholder.

G-04: Proposed return code

Dispatch advices you forward to the channel must include a proposed return code for the return shipment label.

To that end, do one of the following:

a)configure a number range in TB.One.

b)if you manage orders outside TB.One, configure your system so that it forwards the return code to TB.One (CSV/XML: "IDCODE_RETURN_PROPOSAL").

c)manually enter return codes during order processing.
Activate the required input field in the menu "Admin > System settings > Order processing" under "Manual input Return code proposal". The field ("Ret.-Code Prop.") will then be displayed for each order on the tab "Delivery & Cancellation".

TIP:
It is recommended to forward your packages' shipping numbers (graphical user interface: "Ship code"; CSV column: "SHIP_CODE"; XML node: "IDCODE") to the channel. CHECK24.de will validate them and send tracking URLs to the customers. Without the shipping number, the channel will not be able to generate the URL.

You may also transmit proposed return codes with your dispatch advices (graphical user interface: "Ret-Code Prop."; XML node/CSV column: "IDCODE_RETURN_PROPOSAL"). The channel currently does not process this information but plans to do so in the future.

G-05: Delivery documents in package

At CHECK24.de you always reimburse customers for returned articles in full. If you have complaints about the condition of a returned article, consult the channel directly.

G-07: Return causes

To create return causes and states, go to "Basic data > Returns > Return causes" and "Basic data > Returns > Return states" .

CHECK24.de does not process return causes and states.

X-01: Size grid

CHECK24.de does not use size grids.

X-02: Base prices

No base prices are required at CHECK24.de.

X-03: Categories

For a complete list of all categories, go to "Basic data > Classification > Typification". To reduce the number of categories available for selection at the product, mark categories that you do not use as "not assignable".

Channels change their categories from time to time. Any major changes will be announced in TB.One. Outdated categories are highlighted with a red icon. Move all affected products to valid categories.

TIP:
You can find the typifications/categories for CHECK24.de under “CHECK24 - Category List”.

X-04: Value mapping

Map values at the global level for CHECK24.de.

At the individual category level, only exceptions to the global mapping are defined.

X-05: Pending orders

CHECK24.de does not transmit pending orders.

X-06: Partial deliveries

Partial cancellations and partial deliveries on item level.

X-07: Commission group

CHECK24.de does not use commission groups.

X-08: Service logos

CHECK24.de will not display service logos you transfer in the shop.

X-09: Error and status messages

CHECK24.de does not provide error and status messages.

X-10: Templates

At CHECK24.de you cannot use templates.

X-11: Text configurator

The text configurator cannot be used for CHECK24.de.

X-12: Product text profile

You can use the product text profile to customize the product descriptions shown in the channel's shop (you can add information like components and bullet points, and configure the order in which these elements are displayed).

Go to "Basic data > Templates > Product text profiles" to create a profile.

Click on "Create new product text profile" in the left navigation bar (tab "Pages"). Enter a designation and click "Create".

Click on your profile's designation in the list and select which elements should be part of the product description.

Go to "Channels > CHECK24.de > Settings" and switch to the tab "Product texts".

Select the option "Use configurable product text".

Select an assignment base (for example an attribute). All products containing this attribute will use the product text profile.

In the drop-down "Default value" choose the product text profile you want to use.

If you want to use different product text profiles for the different values of your assignment base, you can select them in the table below.

X-13: Title profile

You can use title profiles to configure the product titles shown in the channel's shop. For more information on title profiles, click here.

X-14: Cross prices

You can indicate cross prices for CHECK24.de by filling in the field MSRP.

TIP:
If the MSRP is higher than the selling price, the channel displays not only the crossed-out price but also the percentage discount.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Brands on CHECK24.DE

Brand control ist always for CHECK24.de.

To sell on CHECK24.de, you must specify a channel-specific key for all brands used. To do this, open the “Basic Data > Properties > Brands” menu and click on the relevant brands one by one in the list. Whenever you select a brand, an editing area opens on the right. There, you can specify the key in the “CHECK24.de Assignment” section. Articles are only transferred to CHECK24.de if a brand with a channel-specific key is assigned to the parent product.

Order numbers on CHECK24.de

The channel transmits two numbers along with the order:

TIP:
Order items always have a quantity of “1”. If an item is ordered multiple times, the order for that item contains multiple items with a quantity of “1”.

An example: A customer orders 3 identical shirts. The order now contains not one order line with a quantity of “3,” but 3 lines (each with a quantity of “1”).

If a customer cancels an order that has already been forwarded to TB.One, the channel will contact you via email. The customer cancellation must then be updated in TB.One.
