SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Sales prices and private sales discounts for Galeries Lafayette

Galeries Lafayette regularly offers discounts during limited-time sales promotions. Articles that are part of a sales promotion are advertised by the channel and receive a special ranking in the shop.

Galeries Lafayette also offers "Private Sales". Discounts that are part of a Private Sale are only available to customers who own a Galeries Lafayette account. The channel decides when it is possible to offer Private Sale discounts. New Private Sales are announced via email one month in advance.

To participate in sales promotions and Private Sales, you must create a CSV file for your price lists, and transfer it to both TB.One and the channel.

CSV FILE STRUCTURE AND REQUIREMENTS

To provide your data in the CSV file, please follow the requirements below:

Separators, text delimiters, and character set coding: Use the same settings you've configured at "Admin > Import > Settings" in the section "CSV Import"

Decimal separator: Period

File name: The file's name follows the standard rules for article import files (use the format "ARTICLE_<timestamp>.csv")

Column headers: Apart from the first one, they must contain the channel sign and the promotion's key

Channel sign: It indicates for which channel the promotion is valid (in the example contained in Fig. 2 below, the sign is "[glfr]" for Galeries Lafayette.fr)

Promotion key: It can be chosen freely but needs to be unique to avoid mix-ups

For private sales: The file structure is the same. However, you must prefix the keys in the column headers with "VP_" (see Fig. 1).

2. a_vk_sale [channel sign][promotion key]

4. a_sale_period_to [channel sign][promotion key]

5. a_sale_period_code [channel sign][promotion key]

TIP: You can transfer information for multiple promotional periods in a single file
In that case, you need to indicate the individual periods with different keys. TB.One then always exports prices that match the current date.

PRICE LISTS TRANSMISSION FOR SALES AND PRIVATE SALES DISCOUNTS

Once ready, send your CSV file to TB.One and the channel:

1.Transfer your data to TB.One by uploading the CSV file to the "in" directory using your account's FTP access. It will be processed during the next regular import.

2.Transfer your price list to the channel before the promotional period starts, so make sure that TB.One can process your file in due time. To change prices during the promotion period, indicate a start date that's identical to the date on which your data is transmitted to the channel.

To avoid unnecessary exports to the channel and clean up the database, delete the price lists for past promotional periods from the channel settings menu ("Channels > Galeries Lafayette.fr > Settings") and clicking "Delete deprecated sales prices" on the tab "Pages" in the left navigation bar.

TIP: Need to check your existing sales price lists for the channel?
At "Channels > Galeries Lafayette.fr > Settings", you can find the option "Download current sales prices" on the tab "Pages" in the left navigation bar. Use it to check which promotional prices are currently stored for the channel.

The prices are exported to the channel automatically, following the standard export schedule for offer updates.

Until further notice, it is not possible to trigger exports manually via the link in the left sidebar. For urgent cases, contact Tradebyte Support for an immediate update.
