Create your API access credentials in your merchant account in the backend of Kaufland.de (SMS) and pass them on to your Solution Delivery Manager at Tradebyte. You will receive further SMS API login data during your process negotiation agreements. Please send these to the Solution Delivery Manager, too. Do not change your API access data without consulting your contact at Tradebyte first.

Provide your product data in German.

Don't try to sell articles that are forbidden by the channel's terms and conditions.

B-01: Payments

Find your payment methods at "Basic data > Payment > Payment methods".

Payments are managed by Kaufland.de (SMS). When the channel is activated or, at the latest, when the first order comes in, a payment method with the channel name is created automatically. For the export to an ERP-system, you can freely select an export key.

D-01: Product designation

The length of the product designation is limited to 512 characters.

For Kaufland.de (SMS), the product title (provided by means of the title profile) is composed of brand, designation, size, colour and manufacturer's article number. Technically, the length of the title is limited to 512 characters. However, to increase legibility, you should keep the product title significantly shorter

D-02: Special text

Kaufland.de (SMS) does not use the field "Special text".

D-03: Description

The length of the product description is limited to 5,000 characters.

D-04: Components

The following components are mandatory at Kaufland.de (SMS):

Energy efficiency class (where relevant)

Depending on the product category, several different properties may be required, either as attributes or components (indicated by a warning sign icon in the value mapping )

Provide GPSR information for manufacturer's name, address and additional contact information Use the format for the manufacturer's address: "Examplestreet 1, Examplecity, Postcode, DE”

D-05: Attributes

Use the recommended components listed under "Product Properties - Attributes" in the article "Product Description".

E-01: Article numbers

Provide the following article numbers:

Provide the following (optional) shipping information:

Pack sizes (height, length, width in cm)

Weight

Country of origin and Intrastat category

E-03: Variant dimensions

Kaufland.de (SMS) does not limit the number or type of variant dimensions. Variants a re split into single products.

F-01: Media

Provide images in a commonly used format such as png or jpg.

Number: min. 1 product images, several article images

Size: min. 1,200 px edge length.

Resolution: min. 72 DPI

You can specify alt texts for EAA compliance directly via the TB.One CSV import for product/article data.

G-01: Carrier

Use a carrier of your choice

You can define surcharges for your Kaufland.de (SMS) shipping types at "Basic data > Prices > Surcharges/Discounts".

G-02: Delivery note

You can configure the Kaufland.de (SMS) delivery notes at "Admin > System settings > Documents" and add custom text.

Together with the dispatch advice, you must use the field "Comment" (XML node <COMMENT> or, respectively, CSV field "COMMENT" in the DESADV file) to transfer a delivery note number to the channel. There is no format requirement for that number but it is important that it must also be listed on the goods invoice to Kaufland.de (SMS). This number is used to connect the order/delivery with the invoice in the accounting control. Kaufland.de (SMS) normally handles it as "1 delivery note number = 1 delivery note". With collective invoices you may also combine several deliveries to one channel invoice.

G-03: Invoice

You don't need to print invoices for Kaufland.de (SMS). The channel sends the invoices to the customers. Print invoices for your own records only.

You must NOT add invoices to the packages.

G-04: Proposed return code

Dispatch advices you forward to the channel must include a proposed return code for the return shipment label.

To that end, do one of the following:

a)configure a number range in TB.One.

b)if you manage orders outside TB.One, configure your system so that it forwards the return code to TB.One (CSV/XML: "IDCODE_RETURN_PROPOSAL").

c)manually enter return codes during order processing.
Activate the required input field in the menu "Admin > System settings > Order processing" under "Manual input Return code proposal". The field ("Ret.-Code Prop.") will then be displayed for each order on the tab "Delivery & Cancellation".

G-05: Delivery documents in package

G-06: Refund deduction

At Kaufland.de (SMS) you can deduct a percentage from the reimbursed amount, if an article is returned in bad condition. In that case, specify the precentage you want to deduct on corresponding order's "Returns" tab.

G-07: Return causes

To create return causes and states, go to "Basic data > Returns > Return causes" and "Basic data > Returns > Return states" .

Kaufland.de (SMS) does not process return causes and states.

X-01: Size grid

Kaufland.de (SMS) does not use size grids.

X-02: Base prices

No base prices are required at Kaufland.de (SMS).

X-03: Categories

For a complete list of all categories, go to "Basic data > Classification > Typification". To reduce the number of categories available for selection at the product, mark categories that you do not use as "not assignable".

Channels change their categories from time to time. Any major changes will be announced in TB.One. Outdated categories are highlighted with a red icon. Move all affected products to valid categories.

X-04: Value mapping

Map at the category level for Kaufland.de (SMS). The available channel values may differ from category to category.

X-05: Pending orders

Kaufland.de (SMS) transmits pending orders.

X-06: Partial deliveries

Partial cancellations and partial deliveries on article level.

X-07: Commission group

Kaufland.de (SMS) does not use commission groups.

X-08: Service logos

Kaufland.de (SMS) will not display service logos you transfer in the shop.

X-09: Error and status messages

Kaufland.de (SMS) does not provide error and status messages.

X-10: Templates

At Kaufland.de (SMS) you cannot use templates.

X-11: Text configurator

The text configurator cannot be used for Kaufland.de (SMS).

X-12: Product text profile

Product text profiles cannot be used for Kaufland.de (SMS).

X-13: Title profile

You can use title profiles to configure the product titles shown in the channel's shop. For more information on title profiles, click here.

X-14: Cross prices

You can indicate cross prices for Kaufland.de (SMS) by filling in the field MSRP.

At Kaufland.de (SMS), the channel-RP (net in €) is mandatory. The terms agreed upon with the channel are stored in the SMS. Based upon those conditions and the item price, which is transferred by means of the field "Channel-RP", the retail price for the online shop is calculated.
