SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Value Mapping for Products with Multiple Articles/Variants
For categories where products contain multiple articles (typically fashion, forming variants by colour and size) you have to map the additional property "Variant Attribute Names":
1.Go to "Channels > Walmart (Hauptkanal) > Value mapping". In the left column, select the channel category for which you want to assign values.
2.Assign variant-forming components to the corresponding Walmart properties as usual. Note down the names of the channel properties that form variants (middle column: "Walmart (Hauptkanal) - property").
3.In the central column under "Walmart (Hauptkanal) - property", select the property "Variant Attribute Names".
4.Assign a component to the property "Variant Attribute Names" in the corresponding drop-down menu. Depending on the way variants are formed, keep the following in mind when selecting a component:
a.Scenario 1: All of the category's products form variants in the same way (for example, via colour and size):
▪The component must be assigned to all products that are part of the category selected in the left column.
▪To reduce the mapping effort, it is recommended to use a component that has few different values.
b.Scenario 2: The category's products form variants in different ways (for example via size/colour and size/print):
▪The component must be assigned to all products that are part of the category selected in the left column.
▪For each way the product forms variants, the component needs a corresponding value. Those values must be assigned to all products accordingly.
5.The right column lists all of the component's values. Use the drop-down menus to indicate which Walmart properties the products with the corresponding component value use to form variants. These Walmart properties must already be mapped (see step 2). Multi-selection is possible.
