TB.One > Setup, Configuration & User Accounts > User Accounts > Creating Users and Assigning Roles
The user roles you have defined can be assigned to employees in the menu "Admin > User > Users". If you have not created user accounts yet you need to do so before you can assign roles. Select the tab "Pages" in the left navigation bar and click on "New Employee" to open the editing window.

Enable/disable the user account with the "Blocked" checkbox. |
Enter the user credentials. The user name must not contain any special characters. After you have saved the initial password, the button "Change Password" button is displayed here. Admins can use it to change the user's password. In the field "Display name", you can create an alias shown in TB.One instead of the user name. |
Enter an e-mail address to enable notification mails.
Select whether the new access is for an API user that cannot access the graphical user interface (i.e. an API access) or an employee account ("Rights as follows"). ▪API user: Select whether the access is for multi-channel fulfilment. In the list "Channels for API Access" choose the channels for which you wish to exchange data via this access. ▪Rights as follows: Select roles for the account from the "User roles" list. These roles determine which parts of TB.One the user can access. You can assign multiple roles to one user account and have access to your custom roles here. At least one user needs the role "Finance". Tradebyte invoices are sent to the email address connected to the Finance account. |
Here, you can determine that the user must change his/her password on their next login. In the menu "Password rules", this can be enforced globally. If you have defined an expiry date in the password rules, it will be displayed here, and you may exclude the user from that rule. |

Confirm your settings by clicking "Save". |
ATTENTION: Use the administrator role sparingly and carefully consider who needs such extensive rights. Keep in mind that TB.One is a complex piece of software with many features and options. Once you are more familiar with TB.One, you should define roles in such a way that employees can only see the menus they need for their daily work. One employee can be assigned multiple roles, allowing you to work quite precisely here. Roles can be redefined/reassigned at any point in time. |
