How to Solve the "Mandatory Component/Attribute Missing" error

Description

This error means that the product or article is missing a piece of information that is mandatory for the target marketplace. Without this piece of information, the product and its articles cannot be exported.

Solution

Ensure that the product/article contains all mandatory information and check whether it is mapped correctly for the target channel.

1. Identify and Add the Missing Product Data

•Go to "Articles > SolutionCenter".

•Switch to the "Error list" tab.

•Find the error message and check the "Detail" column. It shows the name of the component or attribute you must provide in your product/article data.

•Open the affected product or article in TB.One.

•Check whether the component/attribute that causes the error is already assigned to the product/article.

•If the component/attribute is missing, assign it to the product/article and provide a value for it.

2. Verify the Value Assignment

If the component/attribute is already assigned to the affected product/article and you still see the error, the reason is that the value mapping is not complete.

•Go to the affected marketplace's value mapping menu ("Channels > [Your channel] > Value mapping").

•In the left column, open the global mapping or the affected product's channel category.

•In the middle column, find and select the channel property that uses the component/attribute you identified in the SolutionCenter's Detail column. You may have used the component/attribute for more than one channel property. If necessary, filter for mandatory properties, as this error message only occurs when mandatory properties are missing.

•In the right column, ensure that your product's component/attribute value is assigned to a corresponding channel value.

•Save your settings.
