Translation Options

TB.One offers multiple translation options for connecting foreign channels. With these options you can translate all product and article texts or export them and forward them to an external translation agency. Before you can begin translating, you first need to create the target language(s) at "Articles > Translation > Languages" (assign a designation and an import key). To create a new language, select the tab "Pages" in the left navigation bar and click on "Create new language".

TB.One offers two main ways of maintaining translations and for each approach there are multiple ways to do the actual translation:

At the product level:

bullet_20x10On the "Translation" tab of each product's preview window (click on the magnifying glass icon in the respective product's line at "Articles > Product list")

bullet_20x10Per product via CSV or XML import

Cross-product text block translation:

bullet_20x10Internally in the translation section for text modules/blocks ("Articles > Translations > Manage text modules")

bullet_20x10External translation via export and import of text modules/blocks

ATTENTION:
Choose one of the two main approaches: Either translate text modules/blocks or translate by product. Note that component and attribute designations (e.g. "color" or "season") are not registered as text blocks but need to be translated directly at "Basic data > Properties > Components/Attributes".

Detailed information on translations can be found here.
