Preliminary Considerations Regarding Master Data

The order and structure of the pages linked below are based on TB.One's UI, to familiarize you with the software's interface prior to the actual data input. Apart from the distinction between products (can't be ordered) and articles (a product's available variations), it is possible to distinguish between different types of basic data:

Product-related basic data may be assigned to any product as needed. They include e.g. sizes and brands, but also other information such as base prices. System-related basic data includes information on payment service providers, shipping types, package types as well as return addresses, reasons, and statuses. Mapping information refers to data provided to simplify the process of matching your products to the channels' requirements.

The headlines in the table below contain information about the importance of individual pieces of data:

bullet_20x10Mandatory: This information is either required by the system or mandatory information for most channels.

bullet_20x10Recommended: This information is used by many channels. Tradebyte recommends to maintain it from the very beginning, regardless of your connected channels. If a piece of data is mandatory for a channel, that will be noted in the respective channel's guide in the section "Channel documentation".

bullet_20x10Optional: The information is only relevant for a few channels.
