TB.One > Order Data and Order Processing > Order Management - Basics and Setup > Preliminary Considerations Regarding Order Processing
You can process incoming orders directly via TB.One's user interface. Therefore, you do not necessarily need a dedicated order processing system. Alternatively, TB.One will export orders to your ERP system. You should consider the following points when setting up TB.One:
1. RETURNS LOG |
|
|---|---|
Decide whether you want to create returns-statistics while processing your returns. With TB.One, you can record return reasons as well as the condition of the returned articles. With the statistics feature you can evaluate this information. |

3. INCOMING ORDERS |
|
Some channels work with so-called pending orders. You will be notified of such orders before they are paid for. Receiving a pending order in TB.One will cause the ordered articles to be reserved, so you can fulfill the order as soon as it is released. If you do not process orders in TB.One but use your own system instead, make sure it can handle pending orders and order changes, so the necessary configurations in TB.One can be made. Whether or not pending orders are exported can be configured at "Admin > Export > Orders". |

4. WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT |
|
TB.One provides a basic warehouse management functionality. Even if you operate more than one warehouse, those warehouses can be represented in TB.One. It is possible to indicate a storage area/bin location for each article. This will allow you to print pick lists for the order processing and speed up the packing process. If necessary, inventory can be managed via TB.One entirely. In this case, the additional menu items for warehouse management will be added to your TB.One account, and the so called "dynamic storage" will be activated. You will only need to provide the number range for your bin locations/storage areas and TB.One will automatically book your wares into empty bins and out of adequately stocked ones. You may also print storage area/bin labels in TB.One, which can be scanned during order processing. TB.One also lets you manage stock transfers and a separate warehouse for incoming goods. The dynamic storage does not support "FIFO" automation and you need to make sure your bins have enough capacity for your articles. |
