Product-Related Basic Data - Overview

To work with TB.One, you need to create various sets of basic data which are independent of specific products/articles and are necessary for master data creation. Keep the distinction between products (cannot be ordered) and articles (a product's variants, can be ordered) in mind when creating this data.

Product/article related basic data can be assigned to each product/article if needed. Such basic data includes clothing sizes and brands, but also information such as base prices. If a channel has certain requirements regarding this data, they can be found in that channel's documentation.

System-related basic data are, for example, information on payment service providers, shipping/package types, return addresses, return reasons and return states. If a channel has certain requirements regarding this data, they can be found in that channel's documentation.

Mapping information makes it easier to assign your products to the channels' specifications. What mapping information is necessary depends entirely on the channel. Therefore, consult the channel documentation for your channels (especially the pages "Product description" and "Value mapping" and the section on variant creation on the page "Article information").

Work through the list below step by step to create the necessary product-related basic data. If certain basic data need not be created manually, but can be imported along with the product/article data, it is mentioned in the table.
